HSS Service Engineer – South West

Location: South West Department: Engineers
We are currently looking for a Service Engineer to work within our High Security Services. Reporting directly to the regional Operations Manager, the role will entail the Service & Maintenance of Security Systems, Access Control, Analogue & IP CCTV and VMS Platforms.

The Role

  • Attend and undertake servicing of security systems, access, IP CCTV and VMS platforms
  • Attend sites and undertake re-active fault-finding visits and maintenance of installed products
  • An understanding of specifications, drawings, and design standards to ensure the systems are installed to clients brief and standard
  • Solution and problem solver mentality and methodology
  • To meet predefined target times, first fix, PMV dates
  • Clear and concise communication with the service team and management regarding customer issues or site problems
  • All paperwork/electronic reporting to the Service team carried out promptly
  • To always present a professional appearance
  • Active team member of on call service rota
  • Commercial awareness to ensure the job is delivered within the timescale allocated

The Candidate

  • Experience in servicing of security alarm systems, CCTV and access
  • PMV delivery of inspections
  • Hold current qualifications or have relevant experience in security alarm systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of Galaxy Intruder, IP CCTV & Access Control systems
  • Pacom equipment knowledge would be advantageous
  • Understanding of service delivery
  • Be up-to-date with current standards
  • Good timekeeping
  • Customer orientated
  • Good communicator with effective verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Computer literate
