The Role
- Complete installations of fire alarms and emergency lighting to BS5839:1 and BS5266:1
- Complete Commissions to correct standards
- Complete Paperwork using the company’s AMK system
- To ensure installs and commissions are completed to BAFE SP203-1 standards
- Complete training as required
- Communicate issues found with the correct personnel
- Commercial awareness
- Implementing Change Management
- Manage client SLA/KPI on site as required
The Candidate
- Proven track record of success in Fire & Security Commissioning
- Understand the correct British Standards for the role
- Work with the installation Manager and Fire Delivery Manager to ensure jobs are completed on time and to the correct standard
- Required to be flexible to deliver commissioning, handovers and emergency calls in and out of hours if ever called upon
- Deliver the necessary changes to processes, systems and management are made in order
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and enforcing standards

- Understand BS5839:1 Commission and Service
- Understand BS5839:9 Commission and Service
- Understanding of testing Em Lts to BS5266:1
- Maintenance, Commissioning and Enhanced Commissioning to BS5839:1
- Familiar with Apollo Conventional and Addressable devices, Hochiki Conventional and Addressable devices, Nittan Conventional and Addressable devices
- Familiar with Sav Wire Panels, Two Wire Panels, Disabled Refuge Systems, Air Sampling, Digi/Redcare, Emergency Lights
- Familiar with Kentec, Advanced, Nittan, Morley, Gent, Notifier, Protec, Cooper Fire, Ems, Eda, Hyfire brands
